How do the muscular and skeletal systems work together to allow you to move?
Your muscular and Skeletal systems work together, using the signals through the brain and skeletal muscles. The muscles are attached to the bones, so when the bone moves the muscle moves, or when the muscle moves, the bone moves. The nervous system sends the signals, which then automatic lyrics allows you to move when you are desiring to.
Chicken Wing V.S Human Arm
The Chicken Wing and the human arm both have a humerus, radius, and ulna. The biggest difference is that chickens also have phalanges just like humans, although the chickens phalanges are molded in a a way, so that the feathers are able to attach.

Compact Bone
Skeletal Muscle
Muscle Pairs
(Inside the bone)
The spongy bone is located inside of the bone. It is located after the Compact Bone, which is located after the Periosteum. The Spongy Bone is really important because it keeps your bone light and easy to move, and for ex. If your bone was hallow from the inside, it would break easily, and it wouldn't be able to grow back as strong.
A chicken Wing does not have an involuntary muscle. Everything in the chicken wing is voluntary. If the chicken wing had an involuntary muscle etc. it wouldn't be able to control itself. The muscle would choose when and why to move.
The Periosteum is the strongest and toughest outer layer of the bone.
The periosteum is a layer of tissue
covering the bones, although it doesn't cover the joints in long bones.
The marrow cavity is where red blood
vessels can be stored and produced.
The compact bone is a tissue that supports your body. It also protects your organs, and provides movement .
The skin is a thin layer of tissue forming the outside cover of our body. The skin is our largest organ, even for chickens, all animals actually. The skin is extremely important. Without our skin we would be vulnerable to bacteria and diseases. Our skin is like the outer layer of an egg, it protects what's on the inside.
A joint is where two bones meet, or connect
A voluntary muscle is a muscle that you can control whenever you want, for whatever reason.
The cartilage is a tough bendy tissue. It is replaced with bone while growing. Your ears and nose are made of cartilage!!!
The tendon is a tough band of tissue that connects the bone and the muscle. It is what allows bones to move when muscles move.
The ligament is a tissue that connects two bones with the joint.
The skeletal muscle is a muscle connected to your skeleton so you can move.
The muscle pairs are two muscle one contracts and the other one relaxes.
