Kung-Fu Punctuation English - KS2 We are learning to
use punctuation... "" NL Kung-fu style! New speaker = New line White Belt Tournament Level 1 - White Belt Speech marks New Line You need to start a new line every time someone different speaks. For example: The old man squeezed tighter until Hugo was practically standing on his toes.

Speech marks Speech marks New speaker = New line Speech marks are used to show that someone is speaking. For example:

Make the noise: Heeee! Make a claw/quotation mark with your left hand - move it inwards as though you are actually drawing it. Keep this hand in the air.
For the second speech mark use your right hand and move it the other way.
