Electrical Energy
Electrical energy is the energy in electricity and electrical charged objects and is produced by by an electrical charge.
Chemical Energy
Chemical energy is energy that is stored in the bonds of chemical compounds and may be released during chemical reactions.
Electromagnetic Energy
Electromagnetic energy is a form of energy that is reflected or emitted from objects in the form of electrical and magnetic waves that can travel through space.
Sound Energy
Heat Energy
Because moving particles produce heat, the internal motion of these atoms are called heat energy.
Magnetic Energy
Magnetic energy is the potential energy of a magnetic field.
Mechanical Energy
When work is done to an object it acquires energy. That energy acquired is called mechanical energy.
Nuclear
Energy
The nucleus of an atom is the source of nuclear energy, when fission occurs nuclear energy is released in different forms, and it is the most concentrated form of energy.
Light/Radiant Energy
Sound energy is the squeezing of air molecules when an object vibrates.
The Law of Conservation
States that energy can neither be destroyed nor created by ordinary means.
Energy can only be converted from one form to another.
When energy seems to have disappeared, scientists began to look for it leading to many great discoveries.
For example, Albert Einstein said that mass and energy can be converted into each other. He then showed that if matter is destroyed, energy is created, and if energy is destroyed mass is created; E=MC squared.
