What is a Resume?
According to the OWL Purdue website, it is a 1-2 page concise summary of experience relevant to the job you are applying to.
Today, I will be teaching you the basics of writing a Resume:

Identifying Information (Name, Permanent Address, Phone, and Professional Email)
Objective Statement (Position, Company and Skills)
Experience (Jobs, Volunteer, Internships, and Leadership Roles)
Purpose of a Resume
Some of the reasons that the USF Career Services Website lists are:
To highlight you qualifications
To market yourself
To obtain an interview
Example of an Objective Statement:
Seeking to obtain the position as the SPC 2608 Professor at USF, where I can use my background in Communications and experience in teaching a Public Speaking course.
