I will also look at articles and electronic resources that relate to my subject topic and use email and social networking sites to contact illustrators and designers working within this field of illustration. I think I will find through my investigation that fashion illustration has adapted its role due to the increased usage of photography to represent the image. Even though fashion illustration had changed and has been on the decline, I think that with the increasing sense of nostalgia in art and the combination with digital elements, illustration looks set to continue its resurgence and fashion illustration will work alongside photography but will never replace it. I will look at the history of fashion illustration, including what this type of medium was originally used for. I will look at both Iconic and modern fashion illustrators for example Rene Gruau - creator of some of the most iconic fashion images of the 20th century and Jason Brooks - known as a pioneer in his field and who helped bring about a reform in the world of fashion illustration. I will also look at the brief history of fashion photography and how this impacted fashion illustration and finally digital technology and how this has revived fashion illustration today. creator of some of the most iconic fashion images of the 20th century known as a pioneer in his field, Jason Brooks helped bring
