Transcript of Columbine High School shooting

The Shooters Plan B The Killing Begins Cassie Bernall It is still unknown as to why these two boys shot and killed 13 students and wounded 23 others. There are many leads such as, they were bullies, they were suicidally depressed, they often got very angry and furious, and some even say that they were tired of being bullied, but no matter what they felt we do know that this was one of the worst school shootings in U.S. history. Columbine High School Conclusion Columbine High School Shooting Eric Harris Dylan Klebold Eric Harris who was 17 and Dylan Klebold who was 18 had been planning their attack in Littleton Colorado at Columbine High School in 1999 for more than a week. Some people say they were "cold blooded predatory psychopaths," but others say that they were just tired of being bullied. Soon they realized that their plan had fizzled and they resorted to plan B, which was to start shooting. Before the shooting began the two boys brought in a pair of duffel bags with many bombs in them and placed them in the cafeteria, then stepped outside and waited for them to explode. At exactly 11:19 am the shooting began. By 11:35 they had killed 12 students plus a teacher and wounded another 23. Shortly after noon the two boys, Dylan and Eric shot themselves. 10 of the students that had been shot were found dead in the school library, including Dylan and Eric, the teacher was shot and killed in his classroom, and the other two students were found outside of the building. Cassie Bernall, a student at Columbine High School, was brutally murdered because of her religious beliefs. When she was asked by the two shooters Dylan and Eric if she believed in God she said yes and was immediately killed. Later Cassie's mom wrote a book in honor of her daughter called "She Said Yes" Thanks for watching. We hope you enjoyed learning about the Columbine Shooting! The End
