Hayao Miyazaki Japanese animation film producer. His films usually incorporate recurrent themes, such as humanity's relationship to nature and technology, and the difficulty of maintaining a pacifist ethic. Reflecting Miyazaki's feminism, the protagonists of his films are often strong, independent girls or young women; the villains, when present, are often morally ambiguous characters with redeeming qualities.

Background He has made many anamated cartoons, and t.v. shows. He makes movies too He was born in Tokyo on January 5, 1941. He does not use scripts, he makes the characters seem like they have real person feelings, and emotions. He makes them say what he feels they should say, and react in the same way, or an exadurated way of how a real actor would. In all of Hayao's productions, theres always drama, a villan, or a group of villans, a hero, and there are almost always action sceens Hayao worries mainly about how long the animation will be. Its always the first thing he tries to figure out, and it sometimes takes him a week or two to figure it out. He has won many awards, and has the best graphic disigning on t.v. animation shows. Started his career in 1963 at the studio of Toei Douga Always was drawing for his family as a kid, drawing was always his passion
