INTRODUCTION
MY FAMILY ARE ALL FROM PUERTO RICO. ONLY MY BROTHER AND I WERE BORN HERE IN AMERICA. MY BROTHER AND I FIRST SPOKE SPANISH. WE EAT SPANISH FOODS,LISTEN TO SPANISH MUSIC,AND WE STILL FOLLOW THE SAME CUSTOMS.

MY MOTHERS FULL NAME IS SONAIDA SOTO-CORREA. SHE WAS BORN IN SANTURCE, PUERTO RICO. HER FATHER WAS BORN IN ISABELA,PUERTO RICO, AND HER MOTHER WAS BORN IN RIO PIEDRAS, PUERTO RICO. HER ANCESTORS WERE FROM SPAIN. MY MOTHER PLAYED MANY GAMES WHEN SHE WAS A KID, SHE WOULD PLAY GAMES LIKE JUMPROPE, HIDE & SEEK, CARDS, 123 FISH AND OTHER GAMES.
CHORES/ EDUCATION
MY MOM'S CHORES WERE CLEANING THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, HER ROOM, DISHES, WASH CLOTHS, MOP, BROOM, CUT THE GRASS, PICK EGGS FROM CHICKEN. MY MOTHER WENT TO COLLAGE BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO BE A DENTIST, INTEAD SHE BECAME A DENTAL ASSISTANT. HER MOM WAS A HOUSEWIFE AND HER DAD OWNED A TIRE CENTER. A TYPICAL EVENING IN MY MOTHER'S HOUSE IS THAT THEY USED TO EAT, WATCH TV, AND GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAYS.
SOME TRADITIONS THAT WE STILL CELEBRATE ARE THE THREE KINGS{JANUARY 6}, WE STILL EAT THE SAME FOOD AS PUERTORRICANS EAT{RICE WITH PIGNEON PEAS, PLANTAIN, PORK, ETC}. MY MOM'S MOST FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY IS THAT YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE YOU WANTED IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, BECAUSE YOUR PARENTS NEW EVERYONE.
WHEN I HEARD I HAD TO DO A PROJECT ON GENERATIONS I THOUGHT IT WAS A CRAZY IDEA. I MEAN PUERTO RICANS ARE ALL ABOUT THEIR FAMILY BUT, I NEVER THOUGHT THAT THE DIFFERENT AGES MEANT DIFFERENT GENERATIONS, CUSTOMS, IDEAS, GAMES, & MUSIC.
