Transcript of For Parents of the Internet Generation

Remember When? Your child was a baby? You took him everywhere
and protected him. If you went to the park
you were with him and pushed
on the swings. A few years later, they
would play at the park
with you watching. Later, they could go to
the park without you. You would check on them. By then you knew they
were safe and they knew
what to do. You always taught them
the right thing to do, and knew what they were doing. Their use of the Internet
should not be any different. http://www.flickr.com/photos/emdot/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/nate_kate/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/albany_tim/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/arlingtonva/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/yourdon/ Help them learn. Teach them how
to use the Internet. Monitor their use. Know what they are doing. Keep up with trends on
the Internet. Keep them safe. They are still your children http://www.flickr.com/photos/sanjoselibrary/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/limaoscarjuliet/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/chimothy27/
