The Story of Ben Franklin's kite experience. Ben Franklins Family. Ben had a very large family. Ben had 7 sisters and 9 brothers. Ben was born January 17th 1706 in Boston Massachusetts. About Ben Franklin. Ben Franklins Inventions One of his inventions were the bifocals. He invented these in 1784. As Ben was getting older he was having a hard time seeing. He got tired of using two different pairs glasses so he decided to make a pair of glasses called bifocals. Ben Franklin be In 1775 Ben wanted to find the best route for deleivering mail. So Ben invented the odometer. The odometer is a tool to measure the mileage of routes. When Ben was getting sick he lived with his daughter Sarah.
Ben died on April 17, 1790. He was 84. There were more than 20,000 people at his funeral. Ben's Death. The Birth and Childhood of Ben Franklin. That is Ben when he was younger. Ben grew up in a very large family. Bens brother had his own paint shop. As Ben was growing up his brother would publish Bens stories. Bens Kite Experiment. Why is Ben on the $100 Bill ? Ben is on the $100 bill because he was the first American to become famous. Some Jobs Ben had. Ben worked as a printer, a piblisher, a scientist, and a Clerk of the PA Assembly. When she first saw Ben she was 15 years old. Ben and Deborah got married in 1730. There marrige ended when Deborah died of a stroke in 1774. Reveiw of Ben Franklin ! Ben's Education Ben Franklin Went to South Grammar School for less than two years. He was 8 years old when he began. He became a writer and an inventor through his own reading and studies when he was older. Ben on a Postage Stamp Ben Franklin appeared on one of the very first postage stamps issued by the United States Post Office. The stamps were issued in 1847 and cost 5 cents. 6.
