(Grab, drag, zoom in or zoom out this presentation at any moment to see more details) Argentina Filing the Application Including all of the required documents 20 days Preliminary Examination The PTO reviews the application to make sure everything's submitted correctly No additional requirements are made Additional requirements are made 180 days Additional requirements are met Additional requirements are not met Application is declared 'abandoned' PUBLICATION The patent is published on the official journal of the PTO's National Patent Authority Payment of fees for Patent Examination No fees are paid Fees are paid 3 years 180 dias PATENT EXAMINATION The patent application is assessed by experts who determine whether if it fulfills all legal requirements 60 days from date of publication for third parties to file observations regarding motives of why the patent should be denied The PTO presents observations or corrections to the patent The PTO request reports from experts or Patent Examinations from foreign offices (If applicable) Third parties filed observations to the patent 60 days 180 days 180 days Observations are answered and corrections addressed No answer is given to the observations or corrections Observations are answered Observations are not answered Request is answered Request is not answered Application is declared as 'abandoned' Applications is declared as 'abandoned' Examinator Releases Final Report DECISION FROM THE PTO Patent is Granted Patent is Denied And it's published in the Patent Bulletin of the PTO Decision is challenged The PTO changes its decision The PTO denies the patent again
