Mercutio was always there for Romeo whenever he needed him, no matter what
Romeo and Mercutio: Noble
Mercutio end up dying because of their friendship
Romeo and Mercutio: Ruin
Benvolio was always there for Romeo, to help him with anything
Romeo and Benvolio: Noble
Like a mother-daughter relationship
Nurse and Juliet: Noble
Romeo and Juliet: Friendship
Justin, Angie, Jonathan, Joey and Tasha
Friar Lawrence, Romeo and Juliet: Ruin
Romeo and Balthazar: Ruin
After Balthazar saw that Juliet was dead he immediately rushed over to Romeo which is something a good friend would do.
Juliet and Tybalt: Ruin
Mercutio was suppose to be the funny, sarcastic character, to make Romeo feel better he would try and make him laugh and joke around
He tried to help Romeo find another girl, to help him get over Rosaline
Mercutio feels that Romeo betrayed him because of him dying, for Romeo even though Mercutio wasn't really part of the feud.
Mercutio "puts a plague on both their houses" because he realizes that the feud is what got him killed
Nurse has a genuine love for Juliet, would do anything for her
Nurse looks after Juliet more than her mother does
Nurse helps Juliet with everything even if it means going against the Capulets
The letter he wrote wasn't there on time, he destroyed the plan
He ended up making them both die
He tried to help Juliet escape marrying Paris by giving her a potion and writing a letter to Romeo
Friar Lawrence married Romeo and Juliet because he thought it was the right thing to do.
Juliet wakes up to him dead so she killed herself too.
Romeo came back to Verona, bought a poison and killed herself while he lie beside Juliet.
He got there before Romeo was able to read the letter Friar Lawrence sent him about the plan.
Romeo's "wing man"
Helped get Romeo into the Capulet party, in order to find another girl
Benvolio also helped Romeo get over Rosaline
Juliet doesn't know how to feel about all the deaths because Tybalt was her cousin, but Romeo was her husband
Before Romeo, Juliet and Tybalt got along
Tybalt ends up killing Mercutio and Romeo kills Tybalt
Tybalt didn't know that Juliet was married to Romeo and therefore was still mean to the Montagues
After being married, Juliet realizes that her husband and her cousin hate eachother

Christian Perspective
There are many different friendships in the Bible, for example David and Jonathan.
"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24

God is trying to say that you can have many friends, but some of them might not actually stick around, but the one true friend will be like family. The relationship with Romeo and Mercutio was like that. Romeo treated Mercutio like family, right up until the very end when Mercutio died because of the fighting. Also just because you have lots of friends, doesn't mean that you really have true friends.
