Lion
Scientific name: Panthero Leo
Habitad: Grassy plains and open woodlands.
Diet: Carnivorous.
Life span: 10 to 14 years in the wild; up to 20 years in captivity.

The intention of doing these project is to replace the hunting by sports. Doing it lions population would stop decreasing.
Mission
The African Wildlife Foundation exist to protect African wildlife and wild lands to hold it forever.

Habitad
Human activity such as agricultural expantion, settlements and road contruction has taken out the lions from their natural habitad.
Human´s conflict
As lions are being force to move close to humans because of their losed habitad,as lions see lifestock as a prey humans kill the lion so they cannot be a threaten to their animals
Hunting
Nowadays some men hunt and kill lions as a prove of bravery, or else they take it as a trophy.
Human conflict
To avoid lions killing by farmers, the foundation are planing to protect lifestock for lions.
Research
Scientist involved with the foundation are studing profundly to understand carnivors so the can develop appropriate conservation actions.
