Student Teacher This year's theme is Super Heroes Welcome to SUPER HERO SCHOOL This year's theme is Students may redo work if they received under a 70%

Student may redo work if they received under a 70% Redo Policy Must show all corrections on a separate sheet of paper Highest grade possible to attain is a 70% Students may make up tests/quizzes for up to a 50% Each night students are to read a book of their choosing for twenty minutes and complete the reading log in their Agenda Books Every Thursday school wide communication folders will be sent home which will contain pertinent school information. Reading logs/Agendas will be sent home daily, and checked on Friday for a signature. Student will have math homework and one additional subject each night, Monday - Thursday. Student may redo work if they received under a 70% Highest grade possible to attain is a 70% Students may make up tests/quizzes for up to a 50% If necessary, late work may be turned in at a rate of 10 points off each day.
Missing work will be noted on their progress report. It is the student's responsibility to get the completed work turned in.
After work is past due a week it is not eligible for a grade.
When there is an excused absence, the student has as many days as they were gone to get in all missing work without penalty. LATE WORK POLICY Welcome John Knox

7:45am – 3:00pm Tardy Bell ring at 8:00 a.m. Students are more prepared when they are own time. ARRIVAL:
Students are supervised beginning at 7:15 a.m.
Students arriving before 7:45 a.m. bell can go to the cafeteria for breakfast; otherwise, report to the gym where a 5th grade teacher will pick them up.
Parent & Students are asked NOT to go to the classroom before 7:45.
A note MUST be sent to your child's teacher if there will be a change in his/her normal DISMISSAL ROUTINE. Parties:
•Only 2 parties during the school year.
•Notify your teacher if you plan to help and attend.
•All volunteers must have DPS clearance. Birthdays:
We love birthdays. However, please remember:
•We cannot have birthday parties in our classroom.
•Birthday treats are allowed to be passed out at the end of the day.
•Treats must be packaged or from a licensed facility.
