Botswana is a landlocked country located in South Africa!
Government!
The government of Botswana is a parlimentary republic that works under the constitution of 1966
The current president of Botswana is Ian Khama

Economy!
Since the 1980s, Botswana has been the largest producer of diamonds
Diamond mining is the mainstay of Botswana's economy
Diamond mining accounts for about one third of Botswana's GDP
Another important industry in Botswana is Tourism
Tourism accounts for about 11% of Botswana's GDP
Agriculture makes up only about 2.3% of Botswana's GDP, mostly through beef exports.
More than one half of the population live in rural areas that are greatly dependent on subsistence crop and livestock farming
The economy of Botswana is a mixed economy which means that the government has a limited role in the economy.
How did the Neolithic Revolution impact Botswana?
The Neolithic Revolution was brought into Botswana by the Tswanas
The Tswanas came to Botswana in the 18th century and brought many customs like have town meetings and trade.
The Tswanas had a positive impact on Botswana

Culture
Music is a large part of the Botswana Culture!One of the popular music genres in Botswana is folk. Kwaito is neighborhood music borrowed from Johannesburg
Religion also plays a big part in the Botswana Culture. About 70% of Botswana's people are Christians but, there are small communities of other religions
English is the official language of Botswana and Setswana is the national language. There are over 20 different languages spoken in Botswana!
