Meanings of four math words
Divisor: A divisor is the number that divides the dividend.
Dividend: A dividend is the amount that you want to divide with.
Prime number: A prime number is a number that can only be multiplied to get to it by one and the number itself.
Composite number: A composite number is a number that you can multiply to get to it with more than two ways.
What are the factors of 48
1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24
First 6 Multiples of 14
14, 24, 42, 56, 70, 84

Prime Factorization
To do prime factorization you need to dig (divide) into the the number you choose. For example, 24 to multiply to get it you can do 24÷2, there is more ways to divide it, but you would go ahead and put 2x12. 2 is a prime number so you keep on dragging it down. Now, for twelve you need to divide it 12÷4=3, so we write down 4x3. We drag the three and the 2 down because they are composite. Next, for the 4 you can divide it by 2, 4÷2=2 so you put 2x2 and there you have all the prime numbers. 2x2x2x3!
Partial Quotients Method
To do the partial quotient method, you need to divide. Actually, the partial quotient method IS to divide. The dividend goes inside and the divisor outside. To do this you need to find a number that you can multiply with the other that is not bigger than the dividend. You write the number down and subtract it with the dividend. You are suppose to do that until the number you get for when you subtract is smaller than the divisor. That is your remainder. Your answer is the numbers you used to multiply the divisor. (you need to plus them together) That is how to do partial quotient method.
Divisibility rules
2: if the last digit is even.
3: if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3
4: If the last two digits form a number divisible by 4
5: if the last digit is z
