Monaco is home to many attractions such as historic buildings, museums, cathedrals, and forts. These tell about Monaco's history.

Monaco was originally colonized by Emperor Henry VI.

Many people and countries fought over possession of Monaco until it was under the protection of France.

Later Monaco became independent and was made a country.

Monaco is filled with delicious food. Many residents have access to fresh foods from the markets including much seafood. As in many other places in the world, Monaco residents prepare special dishes for holidays such as Easter and Christmas.

Monaco is in a subtropical climate zone. Since Monaco is in this climate zone, most of the time Monaco is warm and sunny. Even during the winter it is humid with a mild temperature.

Royalty
Though she is no longer living, the most famous royalty of Monaco is princess Grace. Princess Grace Kelly was an actress that was in many movies including Fourteen Hours, High Noon, Rear Window, Dial M for Murder, To Catch a Thief, and many more. Grace left her fame to become a princess of Monaco.
