TIM WESTWOOD INTERVIEW TYLER THE CREATORS SPEECH THIS ASS THIS ASS click here to see video Tyler Gregory Okonma (born March 6, 1991), better known by his stage name Tyler, The Creator, is an American rapper and record producer.from Los Angeles , he is best known as the leader and co-founder of the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future, born in Los Angeles, California to a Nigerian father and a mother of African-American and white Canadian descent. He claims that he has never met his father in the Tyler creator face to face interview with Tim Westwood a wide variety of informal language was used between the interviewer and interviewee for example when Tyler the creator says "that sucks" this dialect matched that of an american teenager which would be excepted as his birth place is America the informal language gives us the impression that Tyler the creator is familiar with his interviewer and also makes the viewers feel relaxed while watching this interview as this gives viewers the impression that he himself is comfortable another example of in formal language is the many swearwords he uses for example the various times he uses the word "fuck" this portrays his character of someone who doesn't care about what people think of him hence the reason he swears at a time when most would be professional During this interview Tyler the creator digresses a lot for instance when questioned "are your feet larger than normal?" (after maintaining an injury on his leg ) his reply is to reach for a laptop and pass it to one of the members of his group and say product placement this creates an impression that his concentration levels are very low this maybe be because he is still quite young in the business and has not formally adapted him self to these situations or maybe because he is surrounded by the other members of his group laughing and talking in the background and this results in him becoming distracted in this interview Tyler the creator uses a lot of pauses usually before answering a question this gives the impression that he is thinking carefully about his answer to the question and how it may effect him in the long run as in the past he has said things that have sparked some problems with other people or maybe he is making sure his answers are clear and that people will understand what he is saying Tyler the creator has faced criticisms for using the word faggot which is seen to be a homophobic comment He has denied accusations of homophobia, stating, "I'm not homophobic. I just say faggot and use gay as an adjective to describe stupid shit and, "I'm not homophobic. I just think faggot hits and hurts people. However, he later said in an interview with MTV about the slurs, "Well, I have gay fans and they don't really take it offensive, so don't know. If it offends you, it offends you. If you call me a nigga, I really don't care, but that's just me, personally. Some people might take it the other way; I personally don't give a shit." the speech of tyler the creator is very informal and jam packed with foul language to many people he would fit the stereo type of a child who comes from a single parent home or is quite immature the way he portrays himself and acts matches the behaviour of a big kid I dont think that its hisn intention to be judged like that but on the other hand i dont think he is concernd with how people may judge him is just being him tyler the creator weather people like it or not
