Upasana final: Sarvopari/Avtaarvaad
Transcript of Upasana final: Sarvopari/Avtaarvaad
Parabrahma Purushottam Narayan is the all-doer. Without his wish, not even a leaf can move in any of the infinite brahmands. With his antaryami shakti, he controls and knows every living organism's past, present and future. Whatever He wishes will happen.
UPASANA ALSO MEANS understanding the our the five eternal entities: Jiva, Ishawar, Maya, Brahma and Parabrahma.
As devotees of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and staunch believers in the Akshar Purushottam Upasana, we should know of the four pillars of our Upasana.
Shriji Maharaj always possesses a human-like form. This form is present on Earth as well as Akshardham. Shriji Maharaj also references the description of His murti in Vachanamrut Gadhada Madhya 13.
When Shriji Maharaj took birth on this Earth, one of His six main reasons was to establish a lineage of Ekantik Satpurushs through which he can remain present on Earth forever. Shriji Maharaj is always present on this Earth through the Gunatit Satpurush, who currently in Pragat Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Being a part of the BAPS Sanstha, we should be well aware of the philosophy and doctrine we believe in. We should know he basics of our philosophy and why we believe in it.
Hopefully, this presentation has given you a brief outline of the four pillar of our Upasana.
PILLARS OF UPASANA
Shriji Maharaj is the supreme and highest. He is the ultimate avatari- the fountainhead of all avatars. There is no one that exceeds him in any aspect. He is one who has given all of the devi-devtas their respective dhams and duties. Akshardham is His divine abode, in which he is seated amongst innumerable Akshar Muktas.

What is a good leader?
Discomfort when our beliefs
and actions don't match

Beliefs = Actions
Beliefs don't match actions
In Sanskrit the word "Upasana" is a compound word made up of "upa" meaning near and "asanam" meaning to sit. Therefore, the word upasana means to sit near Bhagwan.
"I am atma."
"My purpose is to serve"
So it's important to sit down and
on God: but then how will we survive?
ACTIONS ARE OK AND ALL OF OUR GURUS AND BHAGWAN SWAMINARAYAN HAVE DONE THEM
IF WE DON'T HAVE UPASANA THOUGH, WE
WILL FAIL MISERABLY IN OUR SEVA/ACTIONS.
CLASSIC EXAMPLE: RAVANA
FLOOD RELIEF FOOD
Sarva avatar ema samay, pote koi ma lin na thay. Evi vat kahi jeh var, thaya lin badha avatar. Sarita o male te sagama, malya avatar sau harivama (Harililamritam 5:3)
All the incarnations merge into Him. But he does not merge in anybody the moment this was said, all the incarnations merged into Him. As all the rivers flow into the ocean, all the incarnations merge in him.
