Gone.
All over the world kids surf the internet, text, and call.
Every seven minutes a child has reported getting bullied.
Bullying doesn't have an age limit.
Victims start to question if life is worth living when they are constantly hurt, lost, alone and ignored.
For victims like Rebecca, Jamey, Jessica and Daniel there is an answer.
1 in 65,000 children ages 10 to 14 commit suicide each year.
They can no longer feel how much some people cared.
You saw them in the halls a day ago.
You saw them get laughed at.
You saw the pain in their eyes when you tripped them.
Did you notice when they didn't show up at school?
A hand, even a smile might have saved their life.
Nick Vujicic was born with no arms and no legs. He thought of committing suicide when he was 10 years old.
He was called names at school, and one day he told himself that if he got made fun of one more time it was over.
A girl came up to him and said "Looking good today". Right then and there, everything bad that happened to him, disappeared.

Suicide
By: Emily LaMonica, Fallon Hobson, and Samantha Gibson
You could save a life....
Have you felt the pain?
Have you seen the hurt?
Have you caused the tears?
It can start young...
But it doesn't stop there...
A study in Britain found that at least half of suicides among young people are related to bullying.
Some bullies say they are happy that the victims are gone.
Proud? Happy? About causing someone so much pain they decided they would rather die than live?
No one is clapping no one is laughing, now that they are gone.
Bystanders say they were scared. They didn't want to get involved.
Neither did the victim.
An apology, a compliment, a hand, a smile might not seem like much.
But to the victim, well, it could save their life.
And you'll give them hope.
Give them a smile.
And maybe they will have a reason to.
Give them a compliment.
And they will be reminded of how amazing they really are.
Apologize.
There is hope.
There is always a reason to smile.
You have more of a purpose than it may seem.
Love yourself for who you are, and not who others think you should be.
We can...
Together.

Over 3.2 million students in the U.S. are victims of bullying each year.
A bully is usually insecure about themselves, that is why they take it out on a victim.
Over 40,000 people die in car crashes a year while suicides caused by bullying will take 30,000 lives per year.
What is a bully?
And the victims could finally forgive themselves for "not being good enough", for getting bullied.
Give them a hand.
