What Answers Did we Receive from ECP Organizations?
When Ms. Archer directs you, you will meet with your group from last week. If you weren't here last week, see Ms. Parker.
Together with your group, you will review the answers to the questions our class sent to the organization you read about. Then you will prepare to present on your organization.
When Ms. Archer directs you, you and your group will present to another group. When one group has finished, the other group will present.
A few groups will be asked to present to the whole class.
We Give Back - Week 2!
Welcome! I'm excited to finally meet you.
Please find your NEW seat silently and complete your do now.
When you have finished, raise your hand so Ms. Parker and Ms. Archer can check your work.
Based on what you know so far, would you recommend to a friend that they consider the job of a foundation program officer? Why or why not?
How can I be a successful program officer in this class?
What does this look like or not look like?
Preparing for Upcoming Weeks
Let's congratulate our first Grantee!
You must move back to your assigned seat.
You may talk at a level 2 while you work on your poster.
Your poster should say WHY this organization is getting the grant.
Listen to your peers share out and take notes.
Think about which organization you think should get the $500 grant, and write down your reasons.
Great Job Today!
Give yourself a review for the day and give someone else in the class a shout out for his or her work.
This semester, our class will give out two grants. One will be $500 and one will be $1500.
Today, Ms. Parker will use your feedback to decide which ECP organization will get the $500 grant.
Shout Outs from last week!
for being engaged
for showing leadership
for stepping up and getting involved in the class
In a voice zone 0, review the answers to your questions. UNDERLINE important ideas.
When you are finished, re-read your grant proposal.
