Emu Park is a small town and locality on the Capricorn Coast located 21 kilometres south of Yeppoon in Queensland, Australia. It is within the local government area of Shire of Livingstone. At the 2011 census, Emu Park had a population of 2,021. Emu park has a variety of land usage from, recreational, residential, and some agricultural.
A total of 25 people were observed accessing the Emu Park IGA supermarket on a Sunday in Spring, 23/10/2016. The observation period lasted for ten minutes, from 8:05 AM to 8:15 AM. The weather experienced at the time of observation was overcast. The majority of the people observed were made up of Single middle-aged adults.
Observation of people.
A series of questions were then presented to 6 people in the surrounding neighbor hood. They were asked the same 6 questions each. Their answered were recorded and helped to figure out what local people thought of the surrounding area. Here are two examples of what was asked. One from a female resident, and one from a male. With completely different views for comparison reasons.
