Facts are facts. How they are interpreted can vary widely.

However, if you would like to be unique and different than most people...
Then graduate from college. Less than 35% of people in Arkansas have done that.
One Dreaded Oral Presentation = 100
12 learning assessments @25 pts. each = 300
Four Writing Assignments @50 pts. each = 200
Attendance is not required. However, for concurrent students, it is reported to your high school and they don't like it when you don't show up.
Respect the opinion of others even though you may disagree.
Cell phones are allowed to be out only at designated times
What are those designated times?
We have two 2-minute phone breaks during class
Write and speak coherently, please.
History is not pretty. It is not neat. It is often ugly.
But it is one heck of a story.
Assignments are due on the designated date.
Late assignments are accepted up to one week
past the due date at a maximum of 50% credit.
After one week, assignments are no longer accepted.
Five Kinds of Students in History
1. The ones who don't care or who think it's not cool to be interested
-These students usually fail the course
2. The ones who think every class they take is boring and awful and the biggest waste of time ever
-These students don't have a learning problem. They have an attitude problem and will usually make no higher than a C.
3. The ones who think they know history, but ...
And ...

4. The ones who think they know a lot about history and are eager to share that knowledge, but...
And then there are the rest of you...
