Poem Idea
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,"
Voice-over (male)
Look left, look right...
"I have been one acquainted with the night.
I have walked out in rain--and back in rain.
I have outwalked the furthest city light."
Voice-over (female)
Walking through wet
streets
"I wandered lonely as a Cloud
That floats on high o’er Vales and Hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd
A host of dancing Daffodils;"
Voice-over (male)
Comes over a hill
sees flowers in a valley
"A mind for thoughts to pass into,
A heart for loves to travel through,
Five senses to detect things near,
Is this the whole that we are here?"
Voice-over (female)
Through a tight street

"My spirit will not haunt the mound
Above my breast,
But travel, memory-possessed,
To where my tremulous being found
Life largest, best."
Voice-over (male)
First person looking at
a mound
The Dryfters Poem
Sampling food

Ease, sleep, and friends, all wonted pleasures glad
I spurn'd, till little there remain'd to prove.
Now calmly through the world I wend my way:
That which I crave may everywhere be had,
Voice-over (male)
Dryft counters going up
A shot of something that reflects "everything I crave".
Thumb pushes start,
slides to infinite,
presses 'Go'
"By thirty hills I hurry down,
Or slip between the ridges,
By twenty thorpes, a little town,
And half a hundred bridges."
Voice-over (female)
Discovers a town
Discovers bridges
"And that has made all the difference."
Fingers pushes "dryft more"
Makes the decision
Not all those who wander are lost

people can't orientate, turn the phone in all directions
people spending more time looking at their phone while walking
locate in the middle of a forest
looking around, touch
senses, path, cross roads, beautiful details
"A mind for thoughts to pass into,
A heart for loves to travel through,

I took the one less traveled by,"

Not all those who wander are lost

to emotions, feeling
to more open landscapes
problems, rational
silent, emotional
The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.
Andrew Brown
sometimes the things that were made to help us are getting in our way

the things that are supposed to connect us to the world are removing us from our surroundings

it doesn't always matter where you're going
You're more than a blue dot on a screen
There's more to a city than landmarks and tourist traps
dryfter actually saying the /quotepoem
in place
sagmeister words written in context
panorama, silen t breathing, strange unexpected situations
your senses can tell you more than a GPS chip
let beauty drive you
improvisation
off the beaten track
