by Hannah Frazier About 100 million sharks are being killed each year.
Usually alive when their fins are cut off. Fins are cut off, dried, and sold.
One pound of shark fin can sell for about $300.
Industry makes about $500 million dollars a year.
Used to make shark fin soup.

Each country is responsible to make laws about shark finning.

Laws About Shark Finning: Fins must be in a 5% ratio of the bodies on board.
Fins must arrive attached to the shark.
Finning is banned.
