in BC & Yukon? 26 The answer? . 26 What is cancer? Cancer is a disease that starts in our cells. Instead of reaching a mature size, these cells grow continuosly until they are so big they mutate. Alike most cells in the human body, they procreate and start an army of mutation. Cancer holds no discrimination. Parents. Children. Grandparents. Aunts. Uncles. Friends. Anyone can be affected by cancer. Their vision: Their mission: The eradication of cancer and the enhancement

The Canadian Cancer Society helps by offering many services to those with cancer. they fund research for the causes, cures, and methods of prevention. they provide living support for those with cancer CANCERCONNECTION The society puts you in touch with another survivor of cancer who had a similar experience as you. VOLUNTEER DRIVERS Volunteers provide free rides for cancer patients to appointments, testings, and various treatments who otherwise have no means of transportation. What fundraisers do they have?
