Structure
Over the last two centuries there have been significant strides in medical research, disease treatment and the improvement of patient's quality of life.
Is really important the information about this medicines and drugs. Their health effects are really bad, that is why we must never auto-medicate, is better to visit an specialist who can give correct medication to treat your problem.

History
The term "insulin" originate from insula, the Latin word for islet/island
Insulin's timeline starts back in 1869
1922. First usage of insulin as a medical treatment
1923. Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine to a team at the university of toronto

Insulin is a hormone
It makes our body's cells absorb glucose from the blood
The glucose is stored in the liver and muscle as glycogen
When there is no insulin in the blood, our body uses fat as a source of energy.
Insulin is not identical in all animals
Porcine insulin is the most similar to human insulin
Insulin is produced in the pancreas
When protein is ingested insulin is released.
Insulin makes it possible for glucose to enter our body's cells
• People with type 1 diabetes
• People with type 2 diabetes
• Women with gestational diabetes

People who may need insulin therapy include:
The pancreas
Irregular insulin treatment:

The role of insulin in diabetes treatment
paleness
sweating
increased heartbeat
blurred vision
hunger
a life-threatening complication known as diabetic acidosis
unconsciousness.
Analogue insulin
Animal Insulin
Human Insulin

Antibiotics destroy micro-organisms inside the body
Disinfectants destroy micro-organisms found on inanimate (non-living) objects.
Birth control pill Effects
Headache, dizzines, breast tenderness
Nausea
Breakthrough bleeding
Decreased libido
Moodiness
Depression
Weight gain
Antiseptics are used for:
Analgesics
Alcohols
Boric acid
Iodine
Phenol
Sodium chloride
Sodium hypochlorite
Sodium bicarbonate
Some common antiseptics
Analgesic:
also known as "painkillers," an analgesic is any drug used to reduce pain.

There are three main types of analgesics:
Salicylates
(derived from Willow Tree Bark),
Anilines
(derived from Coal Tar),
and
opioids
