Christmas 2015
Christmas Eve
To start off Christmas Eve night, my dad usually takes my sister and I to a Christmas Eve service at our church. On Christmas Eve night, all of my mom's direct family gathers at my grandparents house. We always have a type of soup with some snacks and family time. This is also when we open presents from each other and take plenty of pictures. After that, sometimes us girls in the family go look at Christmas lights around town.
Christmas Day
On Christmas Day, my mom's family all goes to my grandparents house again for board games and hanging out and all of that. My grandparents friends that are basically part of our family, along with their family, also come in for the fun times. We normally just have snacks that people bring and any leftovers from the night before.
Christmas Weekend
During the weekend of Christmas, we normally go to western Kansas to celebrate Christmas with my dad's family. It's normally at my grandmas house in Dodge City and my aunts and uncles, cousins, and the rest of the family come. My grandma normally cooks a ham or a pork loin and then we have lots of good food that everyone brings as well. It's a fun time because we don't get to see this side of our family very often.
Conclusion
Christmas time is one of my favorite times of the year. I love spending time with family, looking at Christmas lights, baking Christmas goodies, having a much needed break, having a rodeo during break, and celebrating Jesus' birth.
1st event
The weekend before Christmas, it's a tradition that my sister and I stay with my grandparents that also live in Sterling. We always bake Christmas cookies and goodies in the afternoon and then at night we go to Hutch to go out to eat and look at Christmas lights.

Christmas Break
During Christmas break, I normally either babysit or stay home with my sister. If the weather cooperates, we most likely will go ride our horses and practice for our rodeo. We also watch some of our favorite movies and just relax over the much needed break. I also sometimes have a girls day with some of my friends on this break.
