1. BRIGHTS & DARKS
Determine how bright or dark you want your picture to look using a select few tools:
BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST
Balancing the tonal range to achieve dimension in a photograph invites the audience to become a part of the picture. Use LEVELS to achieve depth:
Depth can help you to create a greater attachment towards a photograph.
Moving the sliders to the LEFT will BRIGHTEN that specific tone
Moving the sliders to the RIGHT will DARKEN that specific tone.

Moving this slider to the right will LIGHTEN all the tones, brightening your photograph
Moving this slider to the left will DARKEN all the tones, darkening your photograph

Brighten, lighten, darken or omit colour to add more visual interest to your photograph using the following tools:
HUE & SATURATION
desaturate (black & white)
increase the specified colour
decrease specified colour
Use the CROP tool to alter the composition of your photo by selecting an area in your photograph and discarding everything outside that area.
Layers are images or effects overlaid on top of one another. Use Layers every time you do an edit to your photograph.
