Do you want to be with them forever?
Many teen couples get married every year, why shouldn't you?

Even though it might seem nice to be married
to your partner, most teenage marriages come with some problems.
Teen marriages are two to three times more likely to end up in a divorce, than marriages between people 25 years and older. Those aren't very good odds!

About 3 in 10 teen girls in the US get pregnant at least one time before they turn 20. That means more than 700 thousand teen pregnancies every year.
4.5% of the 21.7 million teens in America, get married each year.
That is about 976 thousand teen marriages every year.

Teen marriage and pregnancy can cause a distraction which leads to a serious loss of education. Parenthood is the number one reason that teen girls drop out of school.
Over half of teens in the United states report dating regularly, but there are also many consequences when being in a relationship or getting married in your teen years.

In the famous play Romeo and Juliet, Juliet was asked to marry a character named Paris who was older than her. Paris told Juliet's father, "Younger than she are happy mothers made."
Her father responded with, "And too soon marr'd are those so early made." From this passage in the book, her father knew best, by explaining that Juliet should wait to get married because of the consequences that were possible. Wait until you're mature enough, and don't make hasty decisions when it comes to life changing events.
