Transcript of Research Process

How do you Research?
When I start my research, I go to ____________ because ___________.
Think – 10 minutes
In Academic Search Complete, start researching your topic, and find at least one item that you would seriously consider in your paper.
• How did you go about finding that item?
• How would you get it through Interlibrary Loan if you had to?

Pair – 5 minutes
Pair up with someone and talk about how you found materials for your topic. On one piece of paper, write down:
• What you did that was the same
• And what you did that was different in order to find materials

Share – 5 minutes
• I will select one group to come up and teach Academic Search Complete to the class, demonstrate how best to find materials, and get things from Interlibrary Loan.
