Transcript of CELLS

CELLS
the cell membrane is the thin layer of protein that surrounds the cell and fat that allows substance to pass and block others.
Cell Membrane
produces energy for the cell also known as the power house.
Mitochondria
Cell Wall
Functions of a Plant Cell
A Big bag that takes up most of the cell and that helps keep the structure of the cell
Vacuoles
The cell wall surrounds the outside of the plant cell. It gives support and structure to the cell
Cell Wall
The nucleus controls the functions in the cell and contains the DNA of the cell.
Nucleus
The nucleus is a membrane bound structure that contains the cells hereditary information which controls the cells growth and reproduction. The hereditary info is the traits of something.

The shape is round
and is in all Humans and animals
Eukaryotic cell
Prokaryotic cell
Has a Cell Wall and Chloroplasts
The shape is rectangular
The eukaryote is a cell with a nucleus and many other cells and enclosed with membrane.
the prokarotic is a cell with the lack a membrane-bound nucleus (karyon).
Cell Membrane
A Layer around the cell
it allows substances to
exit and enter the cell
the major difference is that prokaryotes have a nucleus and eukaryote don't
Chloroplast
Chloroplast contains chlorophyll and is where photosynthesis
Mitochondria
enclosed compartments filled with water and is no basic shape or size
The Mitochondria powers the cell and gives it food
hi
A cell wall is a tough usually flexible things for structural support and protection for the inside cell.animals and protozoa does not have a cell wall.
