his 95 Theses, or complaints
on the door of the Wittenburg
Church in Germany. This
event changed the course of
religion forever. Martin Luther was born November 10, 1483

He died on Februrary 18, 1546

The main reason for putting these theses on the door of the church was becuase of his outrage towards the sale of indulgences in the church. Martin Luther came up with the idea of
Protestant churches. His denomination of church was the Lutheran church, as shown in this picture. '95 Theses' - rap music video-youtube The Diet of Worms was an assembly of people who questioned
Martin Luther's theses. When called to tell if he still believed in his theses he said :
Unless I am convinced by proofs from Scriptures or by plain and clear reasons and arguments, I can and will not retract, for it is neither safe nor wise to do anything against conscience. Here I stand. I can do no other. God help me. Amen."
Martin Luther changed the way we view
religion today. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be a lot of diversity in churches around the world.
