The Red Panda's phylum is Chordata. Four characteristics chordates share are Pharyngeal pouches, hollow nerve cord that lies dorsal to the notochord, a notochord, and a endostyle.
Kingdom Animalia
The Red Panda is in the kingdom Animalia. There are millions of living things in this kingdom.
The red Panda belongs in the domain Eukaryota. Meaning it's an organism who has complex cells.
Domain Eukaryota
This species name is Ailurus Fulgens. The red panda is also known as the lesser panda.
The red panda falls in the order Carnivora. A red panda's diet in the wild consists on bamboo, berries, blossoms and bird eggs. Sometimes they might eat mice, birds, vegetables, acorns, fruits, and roots. Snow leopards prey on red pandas.
The red panda's class is the class Mammalia. There is an international red panda day on Sept. 21, 2013. They have it the third of September yearly.
The red panda's family is Procyonidae. Red pandas are usually solitary in the wild. Although they sometimes in pairs or in small family groups.
The red panda belongs in Ailurus. Red pandas are an endangered species. They're endangered because of deforestation causing habitat lose and illegal hunting for pelts.
