Jerdine Sabio Teoryang Arketipal. "Archetype- is a universally understood symbol, term,or a statement upon which others are copied, patterned, or emulated. Archetypes are often used in myths and storytelling across different cultures."

Ito ay isang teoryang pampanitikan na nangangailangan ng masusing pag-aaral sa kabuuan ng akda sapagkat ang binibigyang-diin dito ay mga simbolismong ginamit upang maipabatid ang pinakamensahe ng akda. Kahulugan Ang layunin ng mga ganitong uri ng panitikan ay ipakita ang mga mahahalagang bahagi ng akda sa pamamagitan ng mga simbolo. Layunin Ang lahat ng simbolismo ay naaayon sa tema at konseptong ipinapakilala ng may-akda sa mga mambabasa. Arketipong pantauhan - ang mga ugali, paglalarawan, o kaya kultura ng mga tauhan na maaring magamit para malaman ang sinisimbolismo ng tauhan na iyon. Apat na pangkalahatang Arketipal Arketipong tagpuan - ang itsura, o kaya ang kalagayan ng kapaligiran, na nag papahiwatig ng sikolohikal na kahulugan. Arketipong pangyayari - ang mga kakaibang pagpapakahulugan ng pangyayari, karamihan nito ay gamit o kaya galing sa kinalakihang kultura. Arketipong simbolo/bagay - mga sagisag at imaheng palagiang lumitaw sa mga teksto ng pangdaigdigang kultura na mayroong ibang kahulugan depende sa teksto. Herman Northrop "Norrie" Frye was a Scottish social anthropologist influential in the early stages of the modern studies of mythology and comparative religion. He is often considered one of the founding fathers of modern anthropology.
