TOK IMAGINATION AS A WAY OF KNOWING
Imaginashun and creativiteh
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
- Albert Einstein

Imagination and creativity cannot exist without one another, their dependent nature makes then inseparable. Scientific facts all came from imagination and creativity, which is what we call a brilliant idea. There is only really one barrier between imagination and a good idea, which is how acceptable your idea is to your environment. If your surrounding community approves what you are doing is "reasonable," hey, we got a genius here.
imagination may lead us to draw on all we have seen and felt, all we have thought and wondered, our job is to take it beyond the bounds of the familiar and known.
After video:
Why is Esraf able to manipulate pictures without seeing?
Is this scientifically compatible or is this a creativity phenomenon?
Bring this back to imagination, we can achieve numerous goals and achievements if we utilize creativity, but there are only set results and set pathways if science is applied to everything.
Creativity is intelligence having a bit of fun.
Since fun is a vital part of human nature, why should we neglect creativity? HUH?
Why is Einstein SO successful in his field of Science? He knows how to combine creativity with scientific work. He has entered a state of vicious cycle of "OMG I work better when I imagine stuff WUU?"

Imagination and fantasies are easily mixed up with lying

Boundaries between reality and imagination are very fine and may cause delusions
Children have a blurry borderline between reality and imagination (monsters in the shadows)
Adults should have a clear borderline but with the mere exception of delusions.
delusion:

1.
a biological disorder in which people have difficulty telling the difference between the real and unreal

2.
to have a skewed belief about the world when we raise questions about things that people normally accept
Sometimes, very new ideas are regarded first as delusional
e.g. heliocentrism vs geocentrism
'What is' against 'What can be'
What is imagination?
Forming new ideas, exploring new concepts, escaping the constraints of reality are all parts of imagination.
'Active pursuit of knowledge'
Using existing knowledge to create more possibilities
Imagination does not present complete knowledge. Instead it presents different forms of possible knowledge
Imagination acts as a means of obtaining more knowledge. Through imagination, possibility and probability can be separated
Benzene through Imagination
Friedrich August Kekule
Imagination is not only a way of knowing, but also a way of finding the known.
It not only helps discover knowledge but also find knowledge.
Imagination helps us go beyond what we can do now and look further on to what we will be able to do

But as Cudi says:
you must be willing to do what you imagine in order for imagination top lead to knowledge
"What is now proved was once only imagined."
-William Blake
As discussed in the various examples. Imagination is used throughout various professions for to complete various tasks.
Thus, we can confirm it's importance in acquiring knowledge in even critical situations.
I know it's easy to imagine but it's easier to just do ...
What do you think about when we tell you there's a guy called Fingerman?
