"Cubing" Method
Automatic Cars
As stated above, automatic cars are in the present. They still have the ability to become more advanced, and maybe not even need the driver's assistance at all.
It seems like it won't be long before we won't have to learn to drive at all, but we can just buy a car that drives us anywhere.
Solar Power Cars
Solar Power Cars are slowly being introduced into our world. They will have solar panels on the top of them and will run on electricity. They will charge during the day when in direct sunlight.
During the night they definitely won't charge however, as the sun isn't there.

Remember those films like iRobot, Terminator and every other film about robots? Well robots are no longer a sci-fi product. They are becoming real and are programmed to help people with learning disabilities and other disabilities.
Let's hope we don't become slaves to them, as they become the master race.
Automatic Cars are in the present.
Some cars have had solar panels integrated into their roof.
Futuristic Houses
Futuristic houses. A home where everything will probably automated. From lights to your oven. As things are currently being automated, I don't think it will be long until these houses will be your normal house, never mind mansions.
copy and paste as needed to add notes to your brainstorm
Cubing is a brainstorming strategy outlined in the book, Writing, by Gregory Cowan and Elizabeth Cowan (New York: Wiley, 1980). With cubing, like with other brainstorming methods, you start with one topic, challenge or issue. Then, you apply six points of view (like the six sides of a cube) to the issue.
Have always been a thing of fiction. Until recently.
Hoverboards. Remember them? Humanity's dream of travelling around on flying skateboards, brought forward by Back to the Future and every other futuristic movie right?
However, this awesome bit of sci-fi technology is becoming reality. With Hendo's recent hoverboard, it shows that these things of past fiction are now become the future's reality.
Flying Cars
Again brought by science fiction. Now becoming reality.
Movies that contained flying cars, the ability to fly through the air without a single need for roads or flying patterns. However, the cars that hover around aren't here, but cars with foldable wings that allow the car to take flight.
If we have managed to make hoverboards and flying cars, how long until we won't need those wings?
