Brief: to supply transportation service and logistic management for Paris Air Show June 2009



Solution

The task of moving 100 pax, and working for 2 different companies under one umbrella was awarded to Driving Force UK. we provided a team of 3 coordinators (2 English and 1 French) to work onsite. Our involvement started 10 months prior to the event, with representatives from driving force uk sourcing, liaising with the show organisers / chauffeurs / drivers / coordinators, etc.
The event, held at Le Bourget air field was a high security trade show, correct passes were needed to be obtained for coordinators, vehicles and chauffeurs alike. Driving Force UK also managed onsite parking passes and hospitality row passes. Our events team coordinated the event from our London HQ until 4 weeks prior to the start date, then based themselves in Paris. from that time right through to completion of the event our coordinating team managed every movement from dispatching vehicles, early morning departures to the venue, to receiving the vehicles at the hospitality chalet. A transport desk was set up to handle all ad-hoc jobs and to coordinate the departures. The team moved into the clients hospitality chalet coordinating all logistics from there.

Brief: Supply of transportation service and logistic management to Pfizer Board, Directors and Management

Solution

Our relationship with Pfizer started in June 1998, having been requested to supply a VIP transport service with logistic management by Pfizer Creative Services Sandwich. Driving Force met with the head of that department, the brief was to supply 24 vehicles through our range to move approx 200 attendees of a conference based at the Metropole Hotel, London. Since then Driving Force has continually worked on many events such as:

Working separately for the Board, Directors, Executives and High to Mid Management.
Our logistic team is well versed in the standard set by Pfizer with their suppliers, we work closely with personnel who manage each particular booking ensuring the brief is understood. We understand the security demands at Pfizer sites and work closely with all appropriate personnel ensuring they have been furnished with the relevant information on our company and chauffeurs.
Due to the high profile of our passengers when working for Pfizer, each booking or event was overseen by our Managing Director who will often be onsite working along side our chauffeurs

Brief: To supply VIP chauffeur services to and from hotels, venues and private aviation FBOs

Solution

Driving Force was requested by the tour management to supply a VIP service to move the A list artists and their crew. We supplied a variety of vehicles from a VIP luxury sedan for the artist, executive sedans for the band, minivans and splitters for the crew. our booking team based at our London HQ monitored the whole event remotely.
Our HQ constantly liaised with the tour manager and promoter for changes in itinerary. Our chauffeurs would also be able to advise due to their close contact with the client – going that extra mile! The group flew by corporate jet; driving force managed the logistics of transferring the band to the aircraft then ensuring more vehicle were in place to meet them on arrival at their destination. when the band travelled by commercial means Driving force arranged airside meet and greets making the transition from air craft to limousine seamless

Brief : to supply transportation service and logistic management for the Grant Thornton Gala Dinner

Solution

We were invited to help move 300pax by Grant Thornton, to supply full transport support and an ad hoc service & assigned VIP chauffeur driven vehicles. 4 onsite transport coordinators were deployed inside and outside the venue - the Banqueting House, which is in a high security area.
Our level of involvement was to advise the client on traveling times and cost saving suggestions. Our events team opened dialog with Charing Cross Police Special Events Department and obtained special dispensation for parking restrictions.
We achieved a wavier on parking restrictions for the departures for 2 hours in the roads adjacent to the venue which enabled our vehicles to park close to the event. We also devised a ticketing system which sat on the table next to the guests place-card, advising them of their vehicle number. To enable a smooth departure these table cards/tickets were to be handed to a transport coordinator on their departure and the relevant numbered car called.

Brief: To supply transportation service and logistic management for A listed tennis personalities & executive groups bookings for Wimbledon 2010, 2011 & 2012.

Solution:

We were requested to organise transportation for A listed tennis personalities & executive groups who were invited to the UK on behalf of HSBC Banking Group, to be chauffeur driven from their arrival at the airport, where they were met by airside greeters who escorted them through customs, baggage hall, right through to their waiting limousine outside the terminal and transferred to their central London hotels. Then to supply full transport support to and from Wimbledon over a period of several days.
We advised the client on traveling times and cost saving suggestions and our allocated account manager ensured the service ran smoothly from beginning to end which allowed maximum satisfaction from all the passengers of their total Wimbledon experience. During this time we arranged our services to the tennis personalities who were appearing as VIP guests at Wimbledon for Promos and Band awareness at various times throughout the event for the same client, proving our ability to tailor our service to match each hire requested.

Our involvement started 10 months prior to the event, with representatives from driving force uk sourcing, liaising with the show organisers/chauffeurs/drivers/coordinators, etc. The event, held at Farnborough air field was a high security trade show, correct passes were needed to be obtained for coordinators, vehicles and chauffeurs alike. Driving Force UK also managed onsite parking passes and hospitality row passes.
Our events team coordinated the event from our London HQ until 2 weeks prior to the start date, then based themselves in Farnborough.
