What is OMLP?
"OMLP is an intensive two-year rotational leadership program designed to accelerate the development of entry-level talent and produce leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the operations function at General Electric."
Managed a 10-person operation for 18 continuous days to ensure
hours of digital content was quality checked.
Developing the user experience, such as positioning
the "By the Numbers" button for the presenter and for the view at home and what effects should occur when actions occurred (e.g. fade out animation, then show the polls).
A new job every 6 months
I developed different leadership styles and now excel at "hitting the ground running" in new roles
"Whiz Bang" is an industry term for the "cool interactive" part of the coverage.
Being entertaining while informative is key for Elections ratings.
