Transcript of Persuasive Reviews
What are things that get reviews?
How do I write a persuasive review?
pick something you'd like to review.
Pick 3 things you would like to review! Make sure you pick something specific!!
Activity: We are going to taste test three different types of popcorn.
Job: Write a review encouraging customers to buy the popcorn you think is best!
Does this persuasive writing format look familiar?
Where can you find reviews?
News and Radio
Introduce the subject. What will you be reviewing? Describe what you are reviewing. Then state your opinion.
Give at least 3 reasons as to why you are reviewing the product/place/thing this way. You should also include different examples to support your reasons. They should all support your opinion!
Write a conclusion! You will need to restate your opinion and continue to persuade the reader to take on your view. In your conclusion you will also be rating the topic on a rating scale.
This time you MUST use even more descriptive vocabulary to persuade your reader.
We will be OREO writing again!
Then, brainstorm at least 3 reasons and examples to go with each. This will make sure you have enough to write about for that topic!
