My trip to Kenya Kenya is a country in East Africa.. Its neighbours are Tanzania and Somalia.This is Kenya's flag. Kenya has been independent since 1963. It has historic links to Britain and is a member of the Commonwealth. One of the main languages, apart from English, is Kiswahili.
'Jambo, habari gani' is a polite way to say 'Hello, how are you?' Kenya has a distinct culture which is interesting and tourists enjoy learning about the country and its inhabitants. Kenya has a long coastline on the Indian Ocean. The sea has many places which divers and snorkellers enjoy. It is also reknown for deep-sea fishing. This is a view of one of the beautiful beaches which are very popular for sunbathing. Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro are
snowcapped mountains in the heart of Africa.
Kenya has an abundance of wildlife and
safaris are very popular. Kenya is a land of wide open spaces,
mountains and forests. It is a fertile
country with a large agricultural industry. What do I know about the country?
