Transcript of States of Matter

States of Matter
Matter
Matter is what everything is made up of. It has four states solid, liquid, gas and plasma.
Solid
solids are ordered, dense with a definite shape and volume.
Liquid
Liquid is a nearly incompressible fluid that conforms to the shape of its container but retains a constant volume independent of pressure.
Gas
Gas an air like fluid substance which expands freely to fill any space available.
Plasma
Plasma is an ionized gas consisting of positive ions and free electrons in proportions resulting in more or less no overall electric charge, typically at low pressures
