You should visit the dentist at least two times a year for check-ups. Dentist can help us prevent cavities. Tooth development:

•Primary or baby teeth: there are 20 baby teeth, they are in place by the age of 3. They remain until around 6 years of age, and then begin to fall out.

•By the time you are about 18 years old, you will have 32 adult or permanent teeth. Permanent teeth: They start to grow between 6 and 12 of age. Most adults have 32 permanent teeth, which are larger.

Your adult teeth will be permanent. You will not get another set. So, you must take very good care of your teeth. Healthy Food jj •This kind of food keeps your teeth strong and in great shape. Fruits and vegetables are also healthy for your teeth.

•Milk and foods made from milk make your teeth strong. They are rich in calcium. •They can also fix any cavities we may already have. They use special tools to care for our teeth. Some of the tools that we can find are: a mouth mirror, a probe, cotton wool, pliers and a small flash light. Even if you take excellent care of your teeth and gums at home you still need to see your dentist regularly. Brushing: •We should brush our teeth after every meal. Brushing helps remove plaque from your teeth, if it’s left on your teeth, it can cause cavities.

•Using gentle strokes make your brush move in small circles over the outside of each tooth. Remember to do the back of each tooth also. The bacteria in your mouth make acids and when plaque clings to your teeth the acids can eat away the enamel of the tooth. dentist •They can also fix any cavities we may already have.
