Abiotic and Biotic Resources By Mikenzi Johnson This Jungle ecosysyem is made up of biotic and abiotic factors. Abiotic resources are things that have never lived and never will. The sunlight, rocks, air, and water in this ecosystem are abiotic factors or resources because they are not living things. Another ecosystem in the world is the tundra. There are a lot of biotic resources that live in the tundra. Biotic resources are things that have lived or once lived. Some biotic animals that live in the tundra ecosystem are the rabbit..... The wolf, and in some cases.... This dead wolf. Another Ecosystem that is apart of our world is the Desert. People can sometimes mistake the Desert to be lifeless. The Desert is actually a thriving ecosystem.
The Rattlesnake shown is a biotic factor. It is poised to strike! The lizard shown is also a biotic factor. It is alive but the sand underneath it is not. The sand is an Abiotic factor. It isn't alive and never has been. A bird a rock, and a cactis is shown in this photograph. The bird is a living animal in the desert while the rock is not.The rock is an abiotic factorand the bird is a biotic factor. Cities and towns can have Abiotic and Biotic factors too. In the city the skyscrapers would be Abiotic factors. The people jogging near the park would be biotic factors along with the trees that surround them. The cars and the sidewalk are abiotic factors becaus they are not living. Abiotic and Biotic factors are factors that are alive and dead. As we have come to understand, abiotic factors are things that are not alive and never will be.Biotic factors are things that are alive or once were alive.
