M: Take out your notebook and have a seat.
V: Level 0
P: Bring out your moon phase calender, if still time start working on it.

GIBBOUS & CRESCENT
Gibbous- This is when the moon is illuminated between a quarter and a full moon
Work Period
1. Take out your lunar calender.
2. Finish the moons on your lunar calender.
3.Label each moon phase of the month before you finish your lunar calender.
4. If done and time remains decorate your calender to hand in.


Moons Waxing & Waning
Moon Growing= Waxing- The period during which the visible surface of the moon increases.

Moon Shrinking= Waning- The period during which the visible surface of the moon decreases.

What is the Flower Moon?
The full moon that occurs in May. This is also known as the corn planting moon for many Native Americans.
Crescent- This is when the moon is illuminated between a quarter and a new moon.
