Check book bags and BEE folders daily
Read weekly newsletters
Review and return “My Sound Book” each day
Assist with homework and at-home projects
Return library books weekly (Tuesdays)
Label envelopes and notes sent to school
Dress child appropriately for the weather
Practice and review skills taught at school
Read daily with your child (fill in monthly chart)
Promote good listening skills
(i.e. waits for turn to speak, follows directions the first time)
Encourage independence
Praise your child’s accomplishments
Attend Parent/Teacher Conferences in November
