strategies Freedom summer freedom summer was a campain that was in
the united states; it was started in june 1964.
this campaign's purpose was get as many
african-american voters in mississippi as
possible, which at the time "black people"
couldn't vote. civil rights era Montgomery bus boycott the montgomery bus boycott demanded intergration on public transportation, which started in 1955. there were significant people like martin luther king jr. it all started when an african-american lady refused to give a white man his seat on a public bus.
