Transcript of Abigail Williams biography
By Rachel Marx and Allison Potter
Abigail Williams was one of the main accusers in the Salem Witch Trials when she was born on July 12th 1960 and accused people when she was about 11 or 12 and lived with her uncle Reverend Samuel Parris, Salems Village minister. Not much is known about where Abigail was born of who her parents were.
Abigail gave formal testimony's at seven cases, she was involved with at many as 17 capital cases, and gave 41 legal complaints
Abigail gave her last testimony on June 3rd 1962, after that Abigail virtually disappeared from the Salem Witch trials, it is suggested that she never got married and became a prostitute
It isn't known why Abigail accused so many respectable people, but it suspected by historians that she craved attention from adult
Joseph Hutchinson of Salem Village accused Abigail of witchcraft and testified that Abigail told him that she could talk and now converse with the devil
The Testimony of Abigail Williams witnesseth and saith that she hath severall times seen, and been very much afflicted by the Apparition of Geo Jacobs Sen'r of Salem at and before the 11. May, 1692.
I think that Abgail was crazy, like she accused a bunch of people of witch craft. She screwed over so many well known people, and lied a lot, so she didn't seem like a very good person.
Abigail was not a nice person. She needed to worry about herself and not accuse people of witch craft. She also shouldn't have been messing around with John Proctor. Because cheating is frowned upon in our society.
"I got 99 problems but a WITCH ain't one." -Abigail Willams
