-A voice that speaks of his/her own situations or feelings.
-Not the author

i.e. the person the reader is supposed to imagine is talking

-A narrator tells a story(not always the author)

-The speaker is the one who is relaying the poem to the reader.

-In stories, you have a "narrator"; in poems, you have a "speaker."
-A narrator is the one who tells the whole story(narrative)

i.e. In
Percy Jackson
series, the narrator is percy himself.
