Station Of The Cross
Transcript of Station Of The Cross
Jesus is nailed to the cross
Stations of the cross
By: grace, gabbie, Harriet, and vanessa.
The first station
jesus is condemned to death
Jesus is condemned
to death by Pontius Pilate.
People are saying lies and screaming that He should be crucified, even if he did nothing wrong to them. But Jesus is not saying anything, instead asking God to forgive them. We all need to be like Jesus and forgive everyone
who says lies about us.
The second station
Soldiers place a heavy cross
for jesus to carry.
Soldiers place a heavy cross on Jesus for him to carry to the place where he will be crucified. He struggles walking with such a weight, but says nothing. Like Jesus, we sometimes struggle to carry all our problems.
But with the help of God, your family and friends, you can carry anything.
jesus falls the first time
Veronica wipes Jesus face with her veil
Jesus struggles with carrying the cross and falls. People are screaming at Jesus to hurry up. Soldiers are screaming at Him to get up. Jesus asks God to help Him carry the cross, because he knows he can't do it Himself. When we fall, we need to learn to ask others for help.
A woman comes out of the crowd with a cloth and wipes the blood and sweat off of the tired Jesus' face. Jesus is so thankful for the kind gesture, so much, he leaves a picture of His face on the cloth. We all need to learn to have compassion to all who help us.
THE SEVENTH STATION:
JESUS FALLS FOR THE SECOND TIME
Jesus speaks to the daughters of Jerusalem
JESUS IS TIRED AND WEAK SO HE FALLS FOR THE SECOND TIME. JESUS STRUGGLES AS PEOPLE SCREAM, MAKING HIM FEEL WORSE. HE FEELS LIKE HE CAN'T GO ON, BUT HE DOES, WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. WHEN WE FEEL LIKE WE CAN'T GO ON, WE NEED TO NEVER GIVE UP.
Simon helps Jesus carry His Cross
Jesus sees his mother, Mary.
Jesus falls the third time
On the way, Jesus sees Mary,
His mother. She is crying, worrying
about what will happen to Jesus. Jesus tells Mary not to be afraid. When something bad happens to us, it effects others, so if you see someone who is hurt, help them.
Jesus is tired and knows he can't carry His cross on his own. So a soldier pulls out a man from the crowd named Simon, who helps Jesus carry the cross. Jesus whispers His thanks, and continue.
Like Simon, we all may have things we want to do, but when someone is in need, we need to help.
While Jesus is carrying His Cross, He feels pressure and falls down one last time. We need to ask God to pick us up when we fall.
The twelfth Station Of The Cross.
The women of Jerusalem and their children come out from the crowd to thank Jesus. They had seen how compassionate he was and now they are here to be with him. Some people in our lives can be a inspiration to us, so we should thank them for all they do.
jesus is stripped of his garments
After a tiring journey, Jesus reaches the hill where he will be crucified. Jesus knows he will die here, but soldiers torture Him more by stripping his clothes and throws them out to the crowd. Even if it's hard for Jesus, He asks God to help him. Even when you feel hope is lost, God will always be with you.
Jesus is on the cross. As the guards took three nails. They hammered it through the flesh of his hands and through the flesh of his feet. He struggles for air as people cry to see him in pain and as others laugh at his suffering.
With two Prisoners beside him and a sign on top that says, "King Of the Jews". One said to him," If you are the son of God save yourself and us." but the other shouted," Forgive me for what I did wrong. We deserve this. But you've done nothing wrong." Then Jesus answered him," Truly I tell you , you shall be in paradise with me." and with this he died on the cross. When this happened, the whole land got dark. A soldier said "Truly this was God's son."
3 days after Jesus is put in the tomb he rises up from the dead. Mary Magdalene came to wash Jesus but when she got there the tomb was open and 2 angels were there and they said Jesus has risen from the dead. Now, Jesus can stay with God the Father in heaven and watch over us.
On Good Friday we think about what Jesus did on the cross.
On Easter we celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead
But the choice is yours...
Do you believe?
Jesus was buried in the tomb. When all of the disciples said their final words, they laid Jesus down in the tomb to rest. Did you ever had to say goodbye to someone? Perhaps they are leaving, or someone passed away. Remember God will always be with you in these hard times.

The Fourteenth station
jesus is taken down from the cross
the thirteenth station:
Human by Christina Perri
Jesus' body is taken down from the cross. Mary was so sad, weeping. The disciples were also crying as they took Jesus' body to the tomb. If you were to lose someone special, you would be sad also, but God will always be there to help you.
